Responsible parties

Larry Beck [DRC, March 6] in regard to Obama and Benghazi seems unable to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. It does appear there was no “stand down” order during the attack ... now, the rest.

Even liberal CNN states Obama/Hillary ignored the security situation in Libya, and that the Department of Defense knew it was a terrorist attack.

The Washington Times stated Obama and the State Department denied “multiple” requests for additional security and that Hillary was requesting a drawdown in security assets.

It also stated that the security detail left rifles, helmets and body armor in another area of the compound on the night of the attack under orders of Hillary.

USA Today stated Obama subsequently gave permission for the military to respond “with minimal direction.”

My take from Mr. Beck is that because there was no “stand down” order from Obama that he is no longer responsible. Four Americans died that night and this administration did nothing.

That, in my opinion, makes Obama and Hillary the only responsible parties.

Mr. Beck, what would your reaction have been if Bush had been in office? I also wonder what your response would have been if Condi Rice had made the statement: “What difference, at this point, does it make?”

I have concluded that this administration has a difficult time telling the truth ... can you say, Lois, “I plead the Fifth” Lerner?

My 2016 battle cry will be “ABH” . . . anyone but Hillary.

Jerel Jeanes,

Denton
