Letters to the editor, October 10

Kudos to Jerry Jeanes [DRC, Sept. 26] on the very commonsensical analogy that where there’s smoke there’s fire.

Most assuredly there are more cases of voter fraud than what have been documented. Also, any case of voter fraud is an abomination to our system and shame on liberals for choosing to downplay its effect as minimal.

Furthermore, I also agree with the hypothesis that most every eligible voter already has legitimate voter identification.

However, on the off chance that a desirous voter has been overlooked, I support doing everything possible to facilitate providing an ID to anyone who is eligible.

I disagree with same-day voter registration where zealots try to roundup uninformed folks, buy them a meal and counsel them to vote for the person who’s going to give them something free.
