The Denton Record-Chronicle welcomes letters to the editor pertaining to the March 4 primary elections. Letters must follow all regular submission rules. Election letters must be received in this office by 5 p.m. Feb. 20; none will be published after Feb. 27.

Vote for Hank Paine

I have known Hank Paine since he arrived in Denton in 1988. I have practiced law in Denton County since 1975 and am proud to say that I have been partners with Hank since 2007, at the Law Firm of Marsh, Paine Waddill PC.

I have tried cases with Hank, both as lead counsel and as assistant counsel. Hank recruited me out of retirement and I have sincerely enjoyed these years of practice.

I know each member of Hank’s family and I have continually been included in their family’s celebrations. Hank’s daughter, Nicole, is a paralegal at our firm, his other daughter, Jordan, is a teacher at Hodge Elementary School and his son is an actuary at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas.

Hank Paine’s knowledge and experience is unsurpassed in Denton County. He has served his clients and the people of Denton County with integrity.

He has exhibited the knowledge and strength of character to serve the residents of Denton County well.

I urge all the caring residents of Denton County to vote for Henry C. Paine Jr. for criminal district attorney.

Fred Marsh,
