Honest politicians

A recent DRC article states, “Aides to Railroad Commissioners Christi Craddick and David Porter, both Republicans who aren’t on the ballot this year, said the donations received between 2010 and 2013 did not play a role in the decision to allow operators to continue injecting wastewater into wells near Azle.”

Have you ever in your life, or in the history of the world, heard a politician say, “Why, yes, the donations from a special interest influenced my decisions. I was bribed (in a legal way, of course) and the money did influence my decision.”

It must be that lobbyists just have not learned that their donations don’t influence anything and they are just wasting their money since 100 percent of the politicians tell us (and God knows they are being honest) that these donations do not influence them.

Lobbyists must be the dumbest people in the world.

We, on the other hand, are the smart ones and re-elect the truly honest politicians who cannot be bribed (in a legal way, of course).
