Watch Fox News

When facts hit close to home, liberals start squealing. Denton's liberals have put some of the vilest, most disparaging letters in the DRC for years. Social media is replete with the same liberal hate. No response from conservatives to "cut off" their right to free speech.

What happened to freedom of speech with you liberals? Over the years, I have said that liberals only believe in free speech when it agrees with their position on issues. That is not freedom of speech. Can you say "Venezuela" or "Cuba" or "China"?

Liberals are watching the wrong news channels if they haven't seen mobs breaking windows, setting fires, fighting with police, etc. -- all to prevent a conservative from speaking at a college campus event. But, of course, the fake mainstream media is making sure you liberals don't see these events.

Stop watching liberal propaganda stations and watch Fox News for the real news, warts and all.

Alice Gore,

Lower property taxes

I heard Greg Abbott say one of his top priorities is reducing property taxes. He said people should not be getting taxed out of their homes.

"One thing is clear: The Founding Fathers never intended a nation where citizens would pay nearly half of everything they earn to the government." -- Ron Paul

Perhaps the government and the school districts have grown to see the people as their golden goose?

Texas property taxes are higher than average nationally but not as high as Democrat-dominated states like Illinois or Connecticut. Why are we heading in that direction?

Such outrageous high taxes are very tough on families, businesses and on renters.

"A tax cut means higher family income and higher business profits and a balanced federal budget. ... As the national income grows, the federal government will ultimately end up with more revenues. Prosperity is the real way to balance our budget. By lowering tax rates, by increasing jobs and income, we can expand tax revenues and finally bring our budget into balance." -- John F. Kennedy

Continue contacting your "representatives" to drastically lower the tax rate. You really do not own your home, if you're just about to be taxed out of it.
