Humorous column

Regarding "Taking steps to get healthy..." DRC, Dec. 12:

I know both Lynn Sheffield Simmons, who writes "The Place is Argyle," and her husband. I can just see them having this conversation.

I am a pharmacist and I know that it can be very confusing when we are being overwhelmed with information about products that we should take or consume to get and stay healthy. And I know it takes some research and time to determine the products we need to be consuming.

In the media today, it sometimes seems that we are deluged with sad and negative items. So I particularly enjoyed this humorous column written by Simmons.

Bill Neu,

Trump stirs things up

Trump has done it again. This man needs someone with common sense and a sound mind to write his speeches.

Check his tweets and other things on social media. He keeps things stirred up without thinking about the consequences of his actions.

Example: He has recently angered a country that has been one of our allies for the last 100 years. They don't want him in their country because he stirs things up.

Rex Tillerson, the U.S. secretary of state, may be the next one of his picks to be replaced because he has questioned Trump's decisions on some things.

Example: Trump keeps saying things about "Rocket Man," who everyone knows is insane. Tillerson wanted China and Russia to put pressure on Kim Jong Un but Trump did not agree.

This is my opinion. If you don't agree, that is your opinion. Everyone has one.
