Les Femmes du Monde was organized almost 50 years ago by women concerned with all aspects of world conditions, especially those that affect this community and country.
Initially the nonprofit organization dedicated its fund-raising to the Dallas Council on World Affairs (now the World Affairs Council of Dallas-Fort Worth).
In recent years it added the Children's Medical Center Dallas' Child Life Program. Millions have been raised for each institution. Event chairwoman is Toni K. Wirth.
Ticket prices are $500, $300 and $125. Tables are available at $5,000, $3,000 and $1,250. Call Ms. Wirth at 972-239-7133.
