Here's a way to blow off yard work next Saturday and still feel good about yourself.

Cruise over to Park Place Motorcars and check out the dealership's annual car show, which will feature dozens of vintage and classic Mercedes-Benzes.

The show runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the dealership at 6113 Lemmon Ave.

Admission is free, though the dealership hopes people will bring a nonperishable food item for the North Texas Food Bank.

We gomers can even play car-show bluebloods. For $1 a vote, we can cast ballots for the "People's Choice" award, and the money will be donated to the food bank.

Members of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America can show their cars free.

Nonmembers will be charged $45, which includes a one-year membership to the Mercedes-Benz Club.
