Houston-area teacher accused of having sexual contact with students

PEARLAND, Texas -- A Willowridge High School teacher was jailed in Pearland Wednesday morning, accused of having sexual relationships with several high school students.
Investigators think Melvina Strickland-Terry, 35, had sexual contact with more than one student at her apartment.
Strickland-Terry was indicted for indecency, sexual assault and improper relationship with a student.
Investigators were tipped off about the activity this past March.
