Glossolalia is more commonly known as "speaking in tongues." In Christianity, speaking in tongues is considered a sign of the Holy Spirit. There are three types: when the speaker speaks an unknown language and there is no interpretation for listeners; when the speaker speaks an unknown language that the listeners understand; and when the speaker speaks in his language but the listeners hear it in a different language.

Baptist General Convention of Texas sued for libel and slander
The Rev. Otto Arango claims he was defamed by the Dallas-based BGCT as it dealt with allegations of “phantom churches” and misspent money in a scandal that came to be known in Baptist circles as Valleygate. The BGCT is the state’s largest Baptist group. Its executive director, Randel Everett, described the suit as “totally without merit.”

Dallas diocese warning: Man posing as bishop, charging for sacraments
At least four people have called local parishes during the past month after becoming suspicious of a man who claimed to be a Mexican bishop and charged $100 to $200 to perform the sacraments of baptism, confirmation and Holy Communion.
