The new Miguelito’s Mexican Restaurant opened Monday in Denton.

Known for its family atmosphere and Tex-Mex dishes, the new McKinney Street location will continue the tradition started by owners Vinny and Diana Cruz.

The new location is the fourth Miguelito’s, with other locations in Krum, Sanger and Hurst.

When you stop by, say hello to the manager, Danny Serna. He has been quite busy the past couple of months getting the location ready for business at 420 E. McKinney St. For information, call 940-566-3016 or 940-566-1671.

Construction has begun at 2620 Scripture St. on the far south side of the proposed Rayzor Ranch Town Center. Select Medical Corp. is building a $9.96 million rehabilitation hospital.

Congrats

Joined by 11 health care marketing colleagues from across the country, Layton will have the opportunity to share best practices in health care marketing with other leaders in the industry. In addition, the group will provide guidance and feedback that will result in customer-driven improvements to Dowden’s portfolio of direct marketing products and services.

Joseph Johnston, who owns and operates the Denton store at 2104 Sadau Court, Suite 130, with his father, said they were honored to be recognized for their achievements.

He has 15 years of experience in the sign industry, having worked in the business for seven years before going to work for Fastsigns at the corporate level. He became owner of the Denton store in 2006.
