Billy and Sharon Bounds of Shady Shores, TX are parents of the bride-to-be. Susan is a graduate of the University of North Texas. She is employed as a fourth grade teacher at Clearwood Junior High School in Slidell, LA.
Doug and Anne Shay of Corinth, TX are parents of the prospective groom. Carter is a graduate of Lake Dallas High School. He is employed a as a Firefighter-E\MT with St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 1 in Slidell, LA.
The couple plans a honeymoon to Riviera Maya.
