Heather Diane Cotten of Denton and Joshua Wane Godi of Denton were married on March 14, 2009 at Myers Park in McKinney, TX. Jake Craven of Denton Bible Church officiated. The reception followed the ceremony at The Landing at Myers Park.
Gary and Penny Cotten of Allen, TX are parents of the bride. Grandparents are James and Ida Orms of Quitman, TX and CJ and AnnaLee Cotten of LaGrange, TX. Heather is a graduate of North Texas and is employed by Denton Independent School District.
Gaddis and Linda Godi of Denton are parents of the groom. Grandmother is Jackie Scott of Denton. Josh is a graduate of Ryan High School and is employed by Denton County Sheriff’s Department.
Maid of honor was Amanda Chumchal. Bridesmaids were Lisa Mayfield, Lauren Jasinski and April Godi.Flower girl was Brynlie Cott3n.
Best man was Gaddis Godi. Groomsmen were Drew Kerestein, Lonnie Roy and Michael Ingle. Ushers were Aaron Chumchal and Nick Chipman. Ring bearer was Hunter Mayfield.
The couple traveled to Ireland for their honeymoon and now live in Denton.
