Aida Haile-Mariam practices with other musicians Friday during the University of North Texas College of Music’s first summer mariachi camp. Thirty middle school and high school students from the Dallas-Fort Worth area participated in the camp, which culminates in a free public concert at noon today at the Lyceum in the University Union.
