University of North Texas English professor Bruce Bond’s Blind Rain, a book of poetry, was recently released by Louisiana State University Press. The book includes several elegies, many concerning last days and death of his father. It also includes “The Return,” a long meditation that explores the double meaning of the word “true.”

Bond, also a jazz and classical guitarist, is author of five other poetry collections, including Cinder, The Throats of Narcissus, Radiography, The Anteroom of Paradise and Independence Days.

Blind Rain is available for purchase at www.lsu.edu/lsupress.
