Tonight marks the end of an era for the University of North Texas College of Music’s jazz program. Neil Slater, seen above, conductor of the One O’ Clock Lab Band, and James Riggs, conductor of the Two O’ Clock Lab Band, will lead their bands for the last time. Both plan to retire in August. The concert showcases all the lab bands beginning at 7 p.m. today in Winspear Performance Hall at the Murchison Performing Arts Center. Tickets cost $5 to $8.
