‘Cats’ slinks back for one more weekend

The North Central Texas College Department of Drama and Dance closes its run of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats with performances at 7:30 p.m. today through Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the First State Bank Center for the Performing Arts at NCTC’s Gainesville campus. Denton actress and singer Olivia Norine of Denton performs the role of Grizabella. John Norine is the musical director. The Norines have performed in several productions for Music Theatre of Denton.
Other performers from Denton include Kendall Butler, Terrynan Davis, Joshua Diaz, Phyllis Katherine James, Brandon Martin and Ariana Fowler. The production also includes Ellanie Patman of Sanger and Ashley Page of Justin.
Thom Talbott, chairman of the college drama program, directs.
