Season pass discounts for Water Works Park end May 11. Passes are available at the Denton Natatorium and the Denton Civic Center. Natatorium admission is included with Water Works Park admission. Individual passes cost $65 for residents, $80 for others. Family passes are $200 for Denton families, $250 for others. For more information, call 940-349-8800.

Tuesday Golf Scrambles at Robson Ranch Golf Course continue for two-player scrambles. Register by 1 p.m. on Tuesdays at the Denton Civic Center or by phone with a credit card by calling 940-349-7275. Upcoming dates are May 20, June 3 and June 17.

On May 15, Brown Bag Botany takes a trip to the Botanical Research Institute of Texas, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tour the herbarium of the institute in Fort Worth. Then enjoy a casual lunch presentation by Dr. Jerry Lincecum of Austin College about his great-great grandfather Dr. Gideon Lincecum, “The Father of Texas Botany.” Bring your lunch and meet at Denia Recreation Center at 9:30 a.m. Return to Denton by 2:30 p.m. To register, call 940-349-7784.
