Library aids forays into genealogy

The Denton Public Library family wants to help you find the rest of yours.
A basic genealogy class is set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Emily Fowler Central Library, 502 Oakland St. Librarian Laura Douglas will teach the basics of genealogical research, including gathering information, using genealogical forms and basic sources, and staying organized, as well as using resources at the library.
The free class is periodically offered at Denton libraries. For more information, call 940-349-8749 or e-mail laura.douglas@cityofdenton.com . Seating is limited.
