Fishboy, the Denton indie pop outfit named for singer-guitarist Eric Michener’s childhood nickname, is known as much for Michener’s inventive cartoons and imaginative lyrics as it is for the band’s bright, sing-along-friendly music. Fishboy has NOM, a nine-song EP, coming out on vinyl in August. Until then, you can catch the band’s latest batch of songs live Friday night at Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studios, 411 E. Sycamore St. Fishboy shares the stage with Cryptacize, a three-piece from Oakland, Calif., and Denton’s Shiny Around the Edges. Doors open at 8 p.m., and cover is $8.   • Make sure "InPrivate Filtering data" is checked
  • Click the "Delete" button.
  • Click the "OK" button to exit the internet options window.
  • Refresh the page
