Roosevelt revival

Elena Dodd takes an academic approach to bringing Eleanor Roosevelt to life in her one-woman show, Meet Eleanor Roosevelt.

The Boston-based writer and actress researched Roosevelt’s autobiography, the first lady’s letters, speeches and articles about her.

Dodd has been to Denton before in her theatrical, living history project that presents Roosevelt’s human rights activism. Dodd’s show is meant to be frank and funny, and a look inside the public and private life of Roosevelt.

The show is sponsored by the United Methodist Women, a ministry of First United Methodist Church.

Make sure "InPrivate Filtering data" is checked
Click the "Delete" button.
Click the "OK" button to exit the internet options window.
Refresh the page
