Submissions are now being accepted for the Lake Cities Idol competition, set for July 4 at the Lake Cities Fourth of July Celebration.

Any nonprofessional singer age 10 and older is eligible to enter. Those interested in being a contestant must submit a complete entry form and one CD or DVD demo recording of the singer performing the songs they wish to perform during the contest.

After demos and applications are reviewed, a maximum of 10 finalists will be selected to compete onstage July 4.
