Last chance to catch show about first lady

Eleanor Roosevelt earned her place as one of the country’s finest first lady’s, to hear Elena Dodd tell it.

The Boston-based writer and actress researched Roosevelt’s autobiography, the first lady’s letters, speeches and articles about her.

Dodd has been to Denton before in her theatrical, living history project that present’s Roosevelt’s human rights activism. Dodd’s show is meant to be frank and funny, and a look inside the public and private life of Roosevelt.

The show is sponsored by the United Methodist Women, a ministry of First United Methodist Church.
