County Democrats schedule fundraiser

The Denton County Democratic Party will have its annual “Summer FUNdraiser,” designed to benefit fall campaign efforts, at 6 p.m. Saturday.
The event, featuring hot dogs and homemade ice cream, will be held at the home of Lindsay and Marsha Keffer at 815 Ector St. in Denton. The event is open to the public, and the organization requests a donation of $15 per person. Food will be served at 6 p.m. Donations of any flavor of homemade ice cream will be welcome.
