Mitchell re-elected to council of governments

Members of the North Central Texas Council of Governments elected a new executive board. Rejoining the board is Denton County Commissioner Bobbie Mitchell. This is her fourth term on the board.
“I think it is important to Denton County to be members of that board since Denton is a strong player in regionalism as far as research, transportation, emergency preparedness and environmentalism,” Mitchell said. “I think it’s important we be right there making decisions that will benefit Denton County as well as the other 15 counties.”
