Decoration day slated for area cemetery

The annual Decoration Day Celebration for Chinn’s Chapel Cemetery in Copper Canyon will be Sunday.

Services at Chinn’s Chapel United Methodist Church begin at 10:30 a.m., and participants are invited to bring a picnic lunch to share at noon at the cemetery.

The Chinn’s Chapel Cemetery Association meeting will be at the cemetery at 2 p.m. Free memberships are available by sending a request to Lisa Galvin, 1604 Schober Road, Argyle, TX 76226.

Contributions for cemetery maintenance can be sent to association treasurer Betty Leatherwood via mail at 1188 Hickory Creek Road, Denton, TX 76210-9500.

The cemetery is one mile north of FM407 on Chinn Chapel Road.

  • Make sure "Preserve Favorites website data" is unchecked.
  • Make sure "InPrivate Filtering data" is checked
  • Click the "Delete" button.
  • Click the "OK" button to exit the internet options window.
  • Refresh the page
