Air show, fair

Denton Air Fair and Air Show is set for June 14 at Denton Airport, 5000 Airport Road. Gates open at 10 a.m., and the first flight performance begins shortly after noon.
Headlining the military performances will be the US Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet Demonstration Team, the USAF A-10A Thunderbolt II Demonstration Team and the US Coast Guard with their HH-65C Dauphin. Civilian performances will include war bird flights, civilian aerobatics and formation flying.
Cost of admission is $5 for adults, $3 for ages 7-12 and free for children younger than 7. Proceeds will benefit Cumberland Presbyterian Children’s Home in Denton. A number of aircraft will be on display on the airport grounds. Food, drinks and souvenirs will be available.
