Amateur radio group elects club officers

The Denton County Amateur Radio Association recently announced the election of club officers for 2008.
Club president is Brent Wilcox, who was formerly vice president. Vice president is Mike Carline, who also acts as the club’s webmaster and public information officer. Gerald Marchant was re-elected as secretary and treasurer. Greg Evans was re-elected as operations and program director. Guy Story was re-elected as technical coordinator.
The radio association is dedicated to the furtherance of the amateur radio hobby and is active in providing communications assistance to many organizations throughout Denton County.
Club meetings are at 7 p.m. on the fourth Monday of every month — except for December — at the Denton County Emergency Operations Center, 9060 Teasley Lane.
