08:10 AM CDT on Thursday, May 15, 2008
A Mother’s Day celebration left a woman without her wedding rings, she told Denton County sheriff’s deputies Tuesday.
The woman said her mother-in-law, whom she knows only by her first name, her brother-in-law and his girlfriend visited her home in the 8000 block of Brahma Drive near Dish for a Mother’s Day celebration Sunday. They spent the night.
The next day, the woman discovered that her wedding ring set and two other rings were missing. Her relatives denied any knowledge of the missing jewelry, according to the sheriff’s report.
