The camp is open to intermediate- and advanced-level mariachi players in sixth through 12th grades. Participants can improve vocal, trumpet, violin, guitar, vihuela or guitarrón skills. The camp is at UNT’s Music Building and University Union, and students will stay in Bruce Hall. Registration cost is $150. A limited number of scholarships are available if financial need can be demonstrated. Registration covers the cost of housing, meals, tuition, materials and music.
