5:45 p.m. Thursday — Denton Holiday Lighting Festival on the downtown Square. Event includes tree lighting ceremony, music and performances, wassail fest, toy drive and more. Free admission; $2 for horse-drawn wagon rides, $5 for photos with Santa.
6 to 9 p.m. Friday — Hickory Creek Country Christmas at Hickory Creek Town Hall, 1075 Ronald Reagan Ave., features a Christmas tree lighting, chili cook-off, open carriage rides and a visit from Santa. Call 940-497-2528.
Saturday — 22nd annual North Pole Days Celebration presented by the Krum Chamber of Commerce in downtown Krum.
