County awaiting results of Dyson autopsy

A ruling still is pending on the cause of death of a Hickory Creek man who died after being found on the floor of his cell in Denton County Jail July 15.
Patrick Dyson, 26, was taken to a hospital emergency room, where he died.
Denton County Medical Examiner Investigator Dan Littner said Monday that results of an autopsy that would show cause and manner of death for Dyson were pending toxicology results. Such results usually take a matter of weeks.
Dyson was awaiting trial for murder in connection with the Dec. 5, 2007, shooting of his former girlfriend, Vanessa Garces, 21.
