Denton High’s new field house

Denton High School dedicated the newly renovated Jim Bateman Athletic Fieldhouse before the Broncos’ football game Friday. Bateman, who served as head coach of the Broncos from 1978 to 1994 and was the most successful football coach in Denton High School history, died in 2008 from leukemia. His widow, Patsy Bateman (left), holds a plaque dedicating the new facility.
