Library’s fifth anniversary

North Branch Library, 3020 N. Locust St., will celebrate its fifth anniversary Thursday. Balloon sculpture artist Big Al will visit from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Bourbon Street Stompers will perform traditional Dixieland jazz from 2 to 4 p.m. There will be treats and door prizes throughout the day, and birthday cake will be served in the afternoon.
