Motorcyclists rev up for annual toy run

The annual Denton Abate Memorial Toy Run and Food Drive is scheduled for Saturday.
Motorcyclists will leave at noon from Stonehill Center, located at 5800 N. Interstate 35 in Denton, and travel to Asbury United Methodist Church at 117 Hercules Lane. Following the run is a party at American Legion Post 88 in Lake Dallas at 2 p.m.
Admission is one toy and one canned good or nonperishable food item or $10 per person. All donated toys will be distributed to underprivileged children of Denton County, while food donations will be made to the Lake Cities Community Food Pantry and monetary donations will go to the Denton police Shop With a Cop program.
