North Texas State Fair & Rodeo Schedule

Dig your boots out of the closet and dust off the Stetson. The 2010 North Texas State Fair and Rodeo flies out of the chute Friday night for two weeks of Southwest tradition, raw animal athleticism and down-home delights from local kitchens, sewing machines and drawing boards.

The fair and rodeo will bring tens of thousands to the fairgrounds to take in the professional rodeo events every evening, concerts from local, regional and national acts and the best of the best of 4-H industry. Livestock shows are planned daily, and a carnival with plenty of food will run daily and nightly through the rodeo.

 

DETAILS: The North Texas State Fair and Rodeo opens Friday and continues through Aug. 29 at the fairgrounds, 2217 N. Carroll Blvd. in Denton. A day pass is $12 for adults, $5 for children ages 7-12, free for children 6 and younger. A four-day pass is $40, and season passes are $90. Visit www.ntfair.com  or call 940-387-2632.
