The Denton County Pet Sitters Association’s Paws for the Holidays campaign, which runs through Dec. 4, is designed to provide medical, grooming and comfort items for dogs and cats in animal shelters in the county.

The group asks the public to collect and donate items such as cat beds, cat litter, rawhides and chews, dog and cat treats, pet shampoo and gift cards for stores that sell pet products.
