Residents sought for Citizen Fire Academy

The Denton Citizen Fire Academy, which provides an overview of the Denton Fire Department, begins Sept. 8 and continues through Nov. 19. Monday classes will be from 6 to 9 p.m.
Firefighters and fire prevention personnel will conduct demonstrations and hands-on activities.
The classes are open to anyone who lives or works in Denton. The classes are free, but registration is required.
