Salvation Army benefit

The Salvation Army of Denton will host its annual luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Denton Country Club, 1213 Country Club Drive in Argyle.
This year’s event theme is “Fall Round-Up.” The guest speaker will be state Rep. Myra Crownover. The event will also feature a silent auction beginning at 11 a.m. Tickets are $45 in advance and $60 at the door.
