Voters league schedules speaker on water issues

The League of Women Voters of Denton will sponsor an appearance by Glenn Clingenpeel, executive assistant to the general manager of the Trinity River Authority of Texas, at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 13.
The presentation will be conducted in Room 125 of the University of North Texas Environmental Sciences Building.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
Clingenpeel will provide an overview of water development and planning in North Central Texas.
In addition, Clingenpell will provide a brief history of the Trinity River and discuss the various issues affecting water supply and water quality in the local basin.
