Blotter: Man reports discovering thefts on lunch break

A man went home on his lunch break at 7:41 p.m. Friday and found multiple items missing, according to a police report.
Among the missing items were a television, a digital video recorder, a laptop computer, a computer monitor and a web camera — items worth almost $4,000, the report said.
The man told police that he searched his house but was unable to determine how a person entered or exited his home.
Other reports
1000 block of South Interstate 35E — A business owner reported to police Friday that someone had written checks totaling $1,900 from his business account Monday.
1100 block of West University Drive — A Texarkana man said someone broke the window of his pickup and took his wallet from the seat sometime between 9:30 p.m. Thursday and 5:15 a.m. Friday, according to a report.
Among the items taken with his wallet was $550 in cash, the report said.
900 block of East Hickory Street — An officer stopped a man for riding a bicycle on the wrong side of the street and for disregarding a stop sign, a police report said.
The man admitted to having a “small amount of marijuana” in his pants pocket, the report said.
