Father of slain ‘Journal’ reporter to talk at UNT

Dr. Judea Pearl, father of slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, will speak at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20 at the University of North Texas as part of “Daniel Pearl World Music Days,” honoring the reporter and musician who was kidnapped and killed in Pakistan in 2002.

Pearl’s speech, “Carving a Dialogue between Muslims and Jews,” will be in the Lyceum of the University Union, one block west of the intersection of Welch and West Prairie streets. The lecture is free. A question-and-answer session and book signing will take place after the speech.
