Nall graduates from boot camp

Nall

Hudson Taylor Nall, 19, of Justin, graduated from United States Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, on June 12.

Pvt. Nall successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MCRD San Diego as one of 54 recruits in Training Platoon 1022. While in basic training, Pvt. Nall was chosen squad leader; earned the status of expert marksman; finished fourth in the final challenge in boot camp, called the Crucible; and earned seven extra days home leave as a recruiter assistant.

Following 10 days of home leave plus the bonus leave, Pvt. Nall will report to Camp Pendleton for two months at the Infantry Training Battalion, which includes Marine combat training. Following training, Pvt. Nall will remain at Camp Pendleton until a permanent duty station is chosen for him.

 

 

Area club to have charity golf tourney

The Lewisville Lions Club is sponsoring its annual charity golf tournament on Sunday, July 12, at Riverchase Golf Club in Coppell.

The tournament, which was rescheduled from June 14, will benefit several local charities and schools.

The four-person scramble tournament will start at 1:30 p.m.

Cost is $100 per golfer or $400 per foursome.

  • Make sure "InPrivate Filtering data" is checked
  • Click the "Delete" button.
  • Click the "OK" button to exit the internet options window.
  • Refresh the page
