Herman Weldon Trietsch

Herman Weldon Trietsch, 79, of Krum, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2009 at Presbyterian Hospital.Arrangements are pending with the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home.

 

 

Arcie Marie Glaster

Arcie Marie Glaster, 68, of Sanger, passed away September 18, 2009 at The Atrium Medical Center in Corinth, TX.

Mrs. Glaster was born on June 18, 1941 in Haleyville, Alabama to Walter C. and Easther (Henderson) Garrard. She worked at the Denton State School as an Active Treatment Provider until retirement, and then she volunteered as a Foster Grandparent.

She is survived by her one son, Cleston Higginbottom, New Albany, IN; three daughters, Karen Davis, Charleston, IN, Glenda Keck, Clarksville, IN, and Theresa Vincent, Sanger, TX; one sister, Brenda W. Wheeler, Granbury, TX. She has six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

 

 

James Samuel Cole

James Samuel Cole, 92 of Milburn, OK passed away Thursday, October 1, 2009 at his residence.He was born July 28, 1917 in Stoney to M.C. and Lily Fields Cole.He married Faye Wallace Cole in 1943.She preceded him in death.He had retired from the Texas Highway Department and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 4, 2009 from 6 – 8 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors.A graveside service will be Monday, October 5, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Prairie Mound Cemetery in Argyle.Pallbearers will be Tim Meador, Ted Meador, Sam Cole, Marty Cole, T.J. Decker and Tony Decker.

He is survived by his daughter, Gene Meador and husband, Vaughn of Denton; sister, Lilly Mae Scoggins of Pilot Point; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Jimmy Cole and brother, Martin Lee Cole.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prairie Mound Cemetery Association, 707 Westway, Denton, Texas 76201.
