Dorsey D. Waller
Dorsey D. Waller, 69, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2008. He was born May 24, 1938 in Virginia. He married his bride in 1955 in Maryland. He lived 26 years in Denton, where he owned and operated Waller’s Exxon and Wrecker Service. He resided in Las Vegas, Nevada for the last 12 years.
Dorsey is survived by his wife, Barbara Waller of Las Vegas; brother, Phil Waller of Denton; sister, Nancy Mathis of Ferris; his children, Jackie and Bob Watson of Denton Timberley Waller of Denton, and D.D. Waller, II of Rhome; grandchildren, Kelly Waller, Michelle Munden, Joshua Waller and Amber Waller; and six great-grandchildren.

James Neal Burel
James Neal Burel, 48, of Denton passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Denton Regional Medical Center. He was born December 18, 1959 in Savannah, Georgia to Alvin Burel and Doris Biggs. He was a mechanic and loved working on cars.
Survivors include his mother, Doris Biggs of Denton; father, Al Burel of Ocala, FL; sister, Dena Devereux of Denton; and three nieces and nephews. His sister, Kara Burel, preceded him in death.
Services are under the direction of Denton Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Mary Massey
Mary Massey, 94, of Little Elm, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, April 24, 2008 in Denton.
Mrs. Massey was born on May 18, 1913 in Monticello, AR to Marvin and Gertrude (Holland) Cruce. She was a former member of the Altrusa Service Club, LE Garden Club, and a current member of the Living Word Baptist Church in Little Elm. She had worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Landress of Garland for several years.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, April 28, 2008 at the Living Word Baptist Church, 2315 FM 720, Little Elm. Rev. Richard Stevens and Col. Flem Sexton will officiate the service. Interment will be at Restland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3 – 5 p.m., Sunday, April 27, 2008 at Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home in Denton.
Pallbearers will be: Michael Coronado, Ricky Bambico, Jr., Jason Grimes, Knox Grimes, Hoby Daniel and Hal Anderson.
She is survived by her daughters, Juanita Daniel of Denton and Letitia Cox of Lenorah; twenty-one grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and even a few great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Marion C. Smith, Ray Thompson and Roy Massey; and sons, James Marvin Smith and Kenneth Allen Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Living Word Baptist Church.

Russell Richard Lowe
Russell Richard Lowe, 92, of Justin, passed away Friday, April 18, 2008, at Presbyterian hospital in Denton. He was born December 19, 1915 to Ola Chumly. Russell served in the US Army and was a life long farmer and a member of Bible Baptist Church in Justin.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Lowe; and mother, Hattie Lowe; and son, Ray Beck. Russell is survived by his daughter-in-law, Doris Beck; grandchildren, Russell Beck and Cathy Mehdir; seven great-grandchildren, Nikki, Lina, Russ, Jordan, Reyon, Rachel and Joel.
He was a wonderful Father, husband, grandpa and great-grandpa and will be dearly missed.
His body was donated to UT Southwestern Science and will be buried at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 7 p.m. at the Bible Baptist Church in Justin.
Onia Marie Smith Jordan
Onia Marie Smith Jordan, 78, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at her home in Denton. She was born on April 25, 1929, in Okmulgee, OK.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at the Aria Funeral Home, 1820 N. Beltline Road, Irving, TX 75061.
Onia was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford Jordan; great-granddaughter, Jordan Dorsett; son, Paul Jordan; parents, William and Onia Smith; brothers, Leslie, Charles and Jim L. Smith.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Lea French; son, Andrew Jordan; sister, Peggy Barfield and husband, Robert; brother, Vernon Smith and sister, Patricia Hardman and husband, Leon.
Marga Meszaros
Marga Meszaros, 77, of Argyle, passed away Friday, April 18, 2008 at her residence. She was born August 1, 1930 in Neumuenster, Germany to Gerhard and Anna (Taden) Froehlich. She received her Associates Degree from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY. She was a longtime employee of Verizon where she retired.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Denton Funeral Home Chapel.
Survivors include her daughter, Sylvia Meszaros of Argyle; son, Michael J. Meszaros and wife, Elaine from Tuckahoe, NY; brothers, Bruno Froehlich of Hamburg, Germany and Gerhard Froehlich of Bremen, Germany.
Memorial donations can be made to Operation Kindness, at 3201 Earhart Drive, Carrollton, TX 75006, or any pet charity of choice.
Services are under the direction of Denton Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
“Randy” Randall Dean Swift, Sr.
“Randy” Randall Dean Swift, Sr., 49, loving husband, father, grandpa, brother and friend, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, in Denton following a lengthy illness. He was born November 4, 1958, in Lubbock, TX.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gayle; and children, Jackie Peedin; Randy Swift, Jr.; Neva Jo Swift; Amber Wilson and Rebecca Wilson. He is also survived by his parents, Wayne and Jo Gray of Gainesville; brother, Don Swift and wife Darenda of Krum; sister-in-law, Sandra Swift of Krum; grandsons, D.J. and Kameron Peedin of Fayetteville, NC; and many nieces, nephews and close friends. His brother, Jack Swift preceded him in death.
Randy’s family was his life and nothing was more important to him than his family. At his house, the only “steps” were the ones that lead to the door.
Visitation will be held from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2008 at DeBerry Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the funeral home. A private family burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Special “Thank You” goes to the nursing staff in the I.C.U. department of Denton Regional Medical Center, especially Myra Brown for the loving care shown to Randy and the family.

Robert Norman Reidler
Robert Norman Reidler, 66, of Copper Canyon, Texas, passed away April 21, 2008 after a yearlong battle with cancer that he fought with a courageous spirit. He was born March 29, 1942 in Lonaconing, Maryland.
Mr. Reidler earned a Masters of Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Maryland in 1967. He started his career at the U.S. Department of Defense where he met his wife, Linda Lorraine Lilley. Later they moved to Boulder, Colorado where Mr. Reidler worked for Ball Brothers Research and helped design and build experiment projects for Skylab space exploration. Mr. Reidler formed a custom computer programming company, which he operated for 11 years. The Reidlers moved to Copper Canyon, Texas in 1982 where Mr. Reidler continued his career and became active in business, community and church organizations.
Mr. Reidler’s travels took him to most of the national parks, 49 states, as far north in Canada as Jasper and Churchill, and from coast to coast. Mr. Reidler traveled to Alaska and the Arctic tundra to see polar bears. He always loved traveling and seeing wildlife, especially grizzly bears and wolves in Canada and the Smokey Mountains in the U.S.
His parents, Williams and Mary Reidler, preceded Mr. Reidler in death. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Linda; daughter, Lauren Stange and husband, Russ of Coppell, Texas; son, Bill Reidler and wife, Paula of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Trevor Stange and Reagan Stange of Coppell, Texas; sister, Shirley Carson of Cumberland, Maryland; extended family, numerous friends; and his beloved dog, Aspen.
A memorial service for Mr. Reidler will be held at Crossroads Bible Church at 5:30 P.M. on Saturday, April 26, 2008.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donation to Crossroads Bible Church, 8101 East FM 407, Double Oak, Texas 75077, or to the American Cancer Society, Lewisville Unit, 8900 Carpenter Frwy., Dallas, Texas 75247.
