William Lioyd Cooksey, 89 yrs old, passed away Monday, May 05, 2008.

Eddie E. Waldrum
Eddie E. Waldrum, 55, of Denton, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2005 at Denton Regional Medical Center. He was born Wichita Falls to Billy Jim and Edna (Carroll) Waldrum. He attended Lake Dallas Public Schools. He was a carpet layer.
A funeral service will be held at Displaced Carmelite Nuns, 6005 Flowers Avenue, Dallas, TX. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton.
Survived by two sons, Jeremy Waldrum of Waco and Jamie Lee Waldrum of Clovis, New Mexico; mother, Edna Waldrum of Denton; a sister, Janice Taylor of Denton; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Zoe Waldrum.

Edna Fern Lynch
Edna Fern Lynch, Mother, Grandmother, age 75, of Ponder, passed away Saturday May 3, 2008 at her home.
Mrs. Lynch was born on June 18, 1932 in Denton to Henry Willis and Johnnie Bell (Mordecai) Powell. She was married to Robert Genova and Theo Lynch; both have preceded her in death. She was very active in her career as she once was a realtor, a business owner and finally retired from FEMA. She was a member of the Denton County Cowboy Church.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Genova, Jr. of Aubrey, Tracy Lynch of Ponder, Don and Tonia Lynch of Denton; stepson, Roy and Jan Lynch of Aledo; daughter in-law, Lisa Genova of Denton; brother, Howard Powell of Sanger; eleven grandchildren, Holly Genova, Clayton Genova, Robert Anthony Genova, III, Jennifer Gordon, Taylor Lynch, Jessica Genova, Justin Genova, D.J. Lynch, Garrett Hutchison, Kortnee Lynch, Hunter Lynch; two great grandchildren, Jacob Gordon and Rylee Genova. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Rick Genova; stepdaughter, Pat Lynch; and sister, Mildred Hickingbottom.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Clayton Genova, Robert Anthony Genova, III, Taylor Lynch, Justin Genova, D.J. Lynch, Garrett Hutchison, Hunter Lynch.
Visitation will from 7 – 9 p.m., Tuesday May 6, 2008 at Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at The Village Church, 1106 W. Oak St., Denton. Kevin Landis will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Frances Murchison
Frances Murchison, born August 29, 1927 in Brownfield, TX and passed away May 4, 2008 in Carrollton, TX. Husband, John W. Murchison, Jr, precedes her in death.
Frances and John first moved to Richardson in 1956 from Galveston, TX. Along with a dedicated group of early parishioners, they were instrumental in the founding of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church of which she was a longtime member.
Frances is survived by sons, John and his wife, Cathy, Tim and Steve and his wife, Denise; daughter, Debbie Cornelius and her husband, Jim; grandchildren, Michael and wife, Christa, Christine, Kelli, Lauren, Jerrod and wife, Lauren and Zach and wife, Lacey Murchison, Stephanie Brock and husband, Preston, Matt Cornelius and Lisa Cornelius.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Restland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church Parish, Center Building Fund, 709 James Drive, Richardson, TX 75080.
L. Harvey Patterson
Funeral services for L. Harvey Patterson of Sherman, TX will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. John Lippert of Ethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will follow at the Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Sherman. Mr. Patterson went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at the age of 86.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Lee Weaver, Nick Ryan Young, Kristen Diane Patterson, Melody Jo Patterson, Susanna Ray Patterson and Travis Zane Patterson.
Harvey was born on August 23, 1921 the son of C.J. and Exie Myrtle (White) Patterson. After graduating from Paris High School he joined the United States Navy. While serving, he met and later after WW II he married Bertha Irene (Walker) on July 7, 1946 in Sedalia, MO. Shortly after the wedding the couple moved to Texas.
Harvey received his B.S. Degree from North Texas State University and began his career as a Professional Educator. He started as a T & I Cabinetmaking Instructor and Supervisor for the Grayson County Vocational Schools in Sherman. He continued his industrial teaching at Sherman High School, Permian High School and Odessa High School. During this time he received his Master's Degree from Southeastern State College in Durant, OK.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Linda Weaver and husband, Henry of Sherman, TX; sons, Chris Jon Patterson of Bells, TX and Dean Ray Patterson of Denton, TX; grandchildren, Daniel Lee Weaver, Julie Anna Bridges and husband, Jeremy, Nick Ryan Young and wife, Ales, Kristen Diane Patterson, Melody Jo Patterson, Susanna Ray Patterson and Travis Zane Patterson; great-grandchildren, Brennan Conner Weaver, Lillian Alexis Weaver, Anna Grace Bridges, Aydan Nathaniel Bridges and Auburn Rayn Young; sister, Exie Joy Bowers of Littleton, CO; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends at Waldo Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 from 7 – 9 p.m.
