Wallace Calvin Sprabeary

Wallace Calvin Sprabeary, 72, of Denton, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2009, at Denton Regional Medical Center. He was born June 7, 1937 in Denton to Walter J. and Rosa (Hilliard) Sprabeary. He was married to Cynthia Sue Runion in 1958 in Denton, she passed away Feb. 14, 1984, and he then married Mary Ann Snody, who also preceded him in death. He was a truck driver for Belcher Trucking Company.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Trinity Cemetery in Denton, with the Rev. Buddy Owens officiating. The family will be at Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, for visitation from 6-8 p.m.

Mr. Sprabeary is survived by daughter and son-in-law Lisa Gail and Don McCreight of Kingston, Okla.; son and daughter-in-law Wallace David and Mickie Sprabeary of North Richland Hills, Texas; sisters Wanda (Linda) Crisp and Alice Laird of Denton; grandchildren Charles Wesley Talkington Jr., Patricia Gail Jordon, Calvin Daniel Talkington and Amber Newell; and great-grandchildren Connor Jordon, Nick Jordon and Jaxson Talkington. He was preceded in death by parents and a sister, Betty Stanford.

Jeffrey Scott Applin

Jeffrey Scott Applin passed away June 27, 2009. He was born August 28, 1959.

He is survived by his wife, three daughters, two grandchildren, his mother, grandmother, brother and sister.

Friends and family will be received Wednesday, July 1, 2009, from 1-4 p.m. at Tioga First Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 2, 2009, at 3 p.m. at White Rock United Methodist Church, 1450 Oldgate Lane, Dallas TX, 75218.
