Doyle Odean Swink

Doyle Odean Swink, 83, of Pilot Point passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2009. He was born on April 5, 1926 in Childress to William and Annie (Graham) Swink. He married his wife, Dorothy, on June 8, 1949 in Mead, Okla. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He retired from Bell Helicopter as an Aircraft Electrician. He was a member of Calvary Baptist church. 

A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 15, 2009, at Calvary Baptist Church in Pilot Point with Dr. Philip Riegle officiating; burial followed at Belew Cemetery. 

He is survived by one son, Gary Swink and wife Sandy of Bedford; and one daughter, Beverly McDaniel and husband Buzz of Denton. He is also survived by six brothers, Robert Swink of Durant, Okla., Jerry Swink of Glen Rose, Richard Swink of Duncanville, Billy Joe Swink of East Texas, Charles Swink of East Texas and Fred Swink of Arlington; and one sister, Delorese Walker of Keller. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Shelly Jezek of Tioga, Lisa Whitley of Pilot Point and Andrea Brentz, Mandy McDaniel and Misty Wilcox, all of Ft. Worth; and five great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; and four brothers, Dwayne Swink, Carl Swink, Donald Ray Swink and Roy Swink.

Dr. Kenneth Lloyd Wright III

Dr. Kenneth Lloyd Wright III, 61, of Dallas, Texas, passed away Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, at his residence. He was born Aug. 6, 1948 in Tulsa, Okla., to Dr. Kenneth Lloyd Wright Jr. and Mary Agnes Webre Wright. 

Graveside service was held Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Agnes Wright of Denton; sister, Charlotte Ann Shelor of Arlington; brothers, Michael Joseph Wright of Gainesville, Christopher John Wright of Dallas and John Martin Wright of New Glarus, Wis. He is preceded in death by his father, Dr. Kenneth Lloyd Wright Jr.; and sister, Anna Marie Wright.
