Myra Gene Allison

Myra Gene Allison, 67 of Denton passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Denton Regional Medical Center.  She was born January 7, 1942 in Aubrey to David and Edna Robinson Allison.

Graveside service will be Friday, November 6, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park.

She is survived by her sister, Wanda McDade and husband Bill of Denton; brothers, Wayne Allison and wife Joyce and Orval Allison and wife Marilyn, both of Denton; nieces, Vanessa Skelton and husband Jeff, Kalista Terrell and husband Robert, Kim McDade; nephews, Robert Allison, Tony McDade and wife Amy and 3 great nieces.

 

 

June Gale Arellano

June Gale Arellano, 71, of Denton, passed to heaven on Saturday, October 31, 2009 in Highline Medical Center in Burien, WA. She was born August 16, 1938 in Erik, OK to John Henry Hunter and Loura Bell Walters Hunter. She was a graduate of Denton High School and attended Business College. She was married to Mario Arellano on June 30, 1961 in Ardmore, OK. She was a homemaker and an active member of the First Baptist Church of Argyle, TX

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2009 in the First Baptist Church, Hwy #377, Argyle, TX with Pastor Brad Elsom officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton for visitation on Friday, November 6, 2009 from 6 p.m. until. 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Missionary Fund, 414 N. Hwy #377, Argyle, TX 76226.

June is survived by her husband,  Mario Arellano, of Denton; brother Ed Hunter, Houston, TX;  sisters and brothers-in-law, Alex and Lupe Arellano of Garland,  Abbie Luna of Garland,  Frances Arevalo of Rowlett, Maria Rosa Paredes of Garland, Janie and Salvador Robles of Rowlett, Lupe Flores of Garland; nieces and nephews, Jannie and Ron Hickey of Allen, Debra K. Taylor of Arlington, David and Toni Hunter of Wolfe City, Jamie June and Lance Hollaway of Denton, Regina Burke of Krum, and L. N. and Leigh Smith of Krum, and other extended family members. June was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Loura B. Copp; brother, H. U. Hunter, and sisters, Patsy Ruth Jolly and Cledith Smith.

Wayne Gray

Wayne Gray, 71, a long time resident of Denton and Cook County went to be with the Lord November 2, 2009.

He is survived by his wife, Neva Jo Gray of Callisburg, his son Don Swift and his wife Darenda, 7 granddaughter, 3 grandsons, 22 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his two sons, Randy Swift and Jack Jr.

The family would like to say a special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Presbyterian Hospital ICU for their wonderful care.

He loved the Lord and family with all his heart. He will be missed.
