Joan Estelle Montgomery
Joan Estelle Montgomery, 77, of Corinth passed away Friday, May 2, 2008
in Denton. She was born May 5, 1930 in Omaha, NE to Samuel and Eva Bordy Minkin. She married James W. Montgomery in Las Vegas in 1952. She retired from the U.S. Post Office.
She is survived by daughters, Kathy Naish of Highland Village, Susan Bonnell of Corinth; son, James W. Montgomery of Kelso WA; 11 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband James W. Montgomery.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Epitacio Ruiz Orozco
Epitacio Ruiz Orozco, 80, of Denton passed away Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. He was born May 5, 1927 in Antioquia Colombia to Fabian Antonio Orozco and Maria del Carmen Ruiz de Orozco. He married Marina Martinez on April 13 1958 in Itagui, Colombia.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father James Flynn officiating.
He is survived by wife, Marina Martinez de Orozco; daughters, Sonia Velasquez, Jeannette Cristales, Luz Dary Fleury; sons, Nelson Orozco, Ramiro Orozco, Jorge Orozco, Walter Orozco, and Edwin Orozco; brothers, Bernardo Orozco and Horacio Orozco, both of Antioquia Colombia; sisters, Bernarda Ardila of Ponchester, NY, Fabiola Orozco and Laura Bedoya, both of Greenwich, CT. He is preceded in death by brother Octavio Orozco.
